About the role Picture yourself at the forefront, leading the charge in delivering 5 MEP headhouses as part of the iconic HS2 project, Britain's futuristic high-speed railway. Working across the Long Itchington Wood (Leamington Spa) & Bromford Tunnels sites (South of Birmingham city centre), shaping the future of transportation here in the UK. You'll be immersed in the buzz of activity, orchestrating seamless integration between MEP, construction, and Rail Interfaces. If you're ready to unleash your potential and leave a lasting mark on the landscape of modern infrastructure, we want to hear from you What you'll be doing As a Project Manager you will: Hold periodic project reviews (PRM) and update the Digital Briefcase in accordance with GBL Ensure the team maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries etc.) Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders Analytical Thinking & Decision Making Ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are utilised efficiently to ensure cost control Manage subcontractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary, such that contractual arrangements are achieved Initiates good scope/information/configuration management principles Ensure reports provide relevant information which enable decisions to be made which are informed, cost effective and in line with overall strategy Ensure scope and package assignment supports the team in coordinated working Health Safety & Environmental Who we're looking for You will have the following: Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts Proficient in commercial/project management communications Experience of heavy Civil Engineering Projects Effective team management skills which empower, influence & inspire others to build effective teams.
