Legal Cashier

Vacancy: Legal Cashier Position: Full, time permanent position. Location: Didsbury, Manchester Salary £21,000 - £26,000 DOE MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with an established conveyancing solicitors in the Didsbury area of Manchester, we are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier with 12+ months experience working in a similar role. Our client is a niche, forward-thinking law firm, where the Partners are highly reputable in the legal market. With a structured and experienced property team, they pride themselves on delivering top-tier services to our clients across various sectors. Role Overview Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Cashier to join their dynamic team. Overview * Full time, permanent position * Salary up to £26,000 * Office based * 35 hours per week The Candidate * You will hold a minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role. * Input credit card transactions from partner credit card statements. * Take client debit/credit card payments. * Post bills/credit notes * Manage the firms Purchase Ledger – liaise with suppliers as required. * Process Conveyancing Completions * All tasks relating to Conveyancing Completions * Monitor all residual balances – esp. Conveyancing. * Maintain Client Ledgers * Post to both Client & Office Transactions * Online banking admin * Accounting reconciliations as required * Pay PAYE * Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules * Liaise with firm’s accountants – as required * Assist with HR & office manager/partners as required * Other duties may required If you are a motivated individual with a passion for legal finance and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
