Senior Health Care Assistant - Kings Norton, Birmingham - £12.72 per hour We are currently working with a very well established Care Home in Kings Norton who are recruiting for a new Team Leader / Senior Care Assistant. Details below: Title: Team Leader - days Salary/Hourly Rate: £12.72 per hour Contracted Hours per week: full time, 34.5 or 46 hours per week (as such we can not work with anyone that is restricted to 20 hours per week, such as those on a Student or Skilled Worker Visa) Days and/or Nights: days Shift Pattern: rota system to include one weekend on and one weekend off Person Specification: You are an experienced leader. You are able to show empathy and patience whilst assisting our residents, ensuring all their needs are met. You will have medication administering experience. You will understand the importance of documentation and review care plans where necessary. You will be confident to talk to families about their loved ones and promote strong relationships between our care home and resident families. You will lead a team by example and promote strong relationships within the Home. Job Description: To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care in conjunction with the residents. To ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the care unit. Maintain a safe environment for clients, staff members and visitors.
