Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is Recruiting for a Technical Project Engineer. This a permanent role and based in Sheffield Salary:30k-35k per year Benefits: 24 days + 8 stats, Bereavement leave, Cycle to work scheme, Free parking, Health & wellbeing programme, Life insurance, On-site parking, Referral programme, Sick pay Location – Sheffield (Office Based) Hours - Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm Technical Project Engineer Role * Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects in line with the companies NPI processes. * Create robust technical specifications to drive NPD Projects. Ensure innovation is at the core of Product development. * Communicate with various departments and stake holders to ensure clear communication and ease of transfer between development stage gates. * Develop robust test plans to ensure we pass third party approvals. Actively communicate with test centres to ensure our products progress as quickly as possible. Become a technical ‘go to’ person for certification and product queries. * Work with suppliers to deliver parts which maintain the highest levels of quality. Develop and maintain robust project plans. * Provide technical support and field technical queries from customers, distributors, and colleagues, by phone, email and/or face to face, with any of our electronic/ mechanical product/queries that have been raised. * Help us improve the quality of our technical design resources in customer communications etc. * Help our tech support and training teams deliver technical information. * Support the effective problem solving of design issues/development requirements. * Develop and maintain our internal testing procedures, ensure we are investigating, resolving, and closing issues satisfactorily. * Create electrical drawings and site wiring diagrams and provide support to customers and colleagues in the technical department. Technical Project Engineer Skills Required * HNC (or above) in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) OR undertaken an apprenticeship in Electronic Engineering (or related discipline) * Masters Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent, Prince2 Qualification or equivalent * Electromechanical Engineering experience within an NPD environment * Experience of using CAD/Drive works/SolidWorks * Experience of working with PCB Schematics * Significant experience working in a design team. * CSCS card ,IPAF * Health and Safety Awareness Training * Effective communication skills, Ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities.IT skills – particularly with MS Packages Applications • We are unable to secure sponsorship, therefore if you do not have residency/settled status to remain in the UK, unfortunately we cannot progress your application for this role Please apply with cv Technical Project Engineer or call Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd on (phone number removed) for more details
