Retail Trainer


Retail Trainer Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday Shirebrook, East Midlands, mainly classroom / workshop delivery with some travel Up to £32k plus great benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, birthday off, Health Cashplan, employee discounts, employee health and wellbeing support, work from home/hybrid working 3% pension contribution, Appreciation gifts, CPD, support, mileage and expenses As a Retail Trainer your primary task is to support and educate learners working towards Core Apprenticeship standard qualifications in their journey to a successful end point assessment. Our client is a leading national training provider delivering Apprenticeship programmes throughout the UK. As an OFTSED Grade 2 'Good’ provider, they specialise in Apprenticeship training across a diverse range of Professional Services and Supply Chain & Logistics sectors including Leadership, Management, Freight Forwarding, and Customer Service.. Key Responsibilities & Objectives: * Plan, prepare and deliver workshops to the highest quality * Effectively teach the knowledge required for the apprenticeship standard * Coach apprentices in leadership skills by guiding, supporting, providing accountability and encouragement * Delivering Retail Team Leader, ILM modules * Visiting apprentices in the workplace, providing coaching and assessment * Supporting apprentices remotely to provide coaching and assessment via virtual learning platform * Establish positive working relationships with clients * To facilitate the enhancement of work performance, self-directed learning and personal development * Prepare, agree and review apprenticeship learning plans * Challenge and develop apprentice’s skills and abilities to enable them to achieve the best performance results * Tracking and reporting progress of planned learning to achieve end-point assessment * Be quick to problem solve and produce solutions to any learning or development barriers to apprentice’s * Providing observational and specific feedback, encouraging the apprentice to self-assess their performance and readiness for achievement * Ensure best practices and be aware of Health and Safety; Safeguarding; Prevent and related acts. You will: * Be highly motivated, persuasive, persistent and patient * Retail Management Experience * Experience delivering learning in a group setting * Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent * Driving Licence * Experience in delivering workshops * Have the ability to provide effective feedback * An excellent communicator * Have good administrative skills, be flexible, adaptable and be able to cope under pressure * Have significant relevant industry experience * Take part in regular CPD activities To apply for the role of Retail Trainer Shirebrook, East and West Midlands please email your cv to Tina Lacey Recruitment is a specialist recruitment agency dedicated to the skills, training and welfare to work sectors nationally.
