Quality Engineer

Headley Recruitment have a live vacancy with our engineering client in Keighley who are seeking a Quality Engineer / Quality Technician. The company is well established in Keighley, and holds a reputation as an excellent employer offering a good benefits package alongside an interesting work environment This role is to support their growing Quality team where you will work alongside the department manager, in a crucial function for the business. The role will involve: * Inspection of finished products to ensure conformance * Assessing current processes and making necessary improvements * Continuous improvement activities * Supplier quality control * Identifying quality issues and offering solutions * Associated reporting and documentation We are seeking candidates with Quality engineering / assurance experience who are keen to expand their knowledge in the Quality engineering arena, and are willing and able to take on board training and development opportunities. Key requirements to include: * Experience in a manufacturing (ideally engineering) environment in a role such as quality engineer, quality technician, quality inspector. * Analytical mindset, able to analyse and assess current policies and procedures. * Knowledge of quality methods to be able to devise, suggest and implement procedural changes * Willing and able to take advantage of training opportunities * Good communicator and adaptable – able to work on the shop floor and office environment. * Good attitude to work – dedicated and reliable Full information available on application
