Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Exeter Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Exeter, working on clean and wastewater projects comprising of mechanical, electrical, civil & process engineering. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all of the commercial function for the projects and applicants should be fully conversant with the NEC suite of contracts. The Quantity Surveyor will report to the Commercial Manager for the Process & Water team. Duties include but are not limited to: ·Valuations ·Change Control / Compensation Events ·Subcontractor Procurement ·CVR's ·Early Warnings ·Updating Risk Register ·Monthly Commercial Reporting ·Cash Flow Forecasts ·Subcontractor Payments ·Dispute Resolution ·Final accounts Desired Skills / Background ·HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience (Essential) ·Working knowledge of NEC Suite of Contracts (Essential) ·A background of working within the civil engineering/water industry(Preferred) About Trant: Trant Engineering has a long history of engineering and construction excellence, delivering high quality EPC engineering and construction services throughout the UK and overseas.
