Service Engineer / Hydraulic Service Engineer / Installation Engineer required to join a leading supplier of fluid power and hydraulic products and services.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various industrial hydraulic systems and components at customer sites around Nottinghamshire UK wide.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a service background in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, valves, pumps, Pipework, Lubrication, HGV, Cylinders, Hydraulic press, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulic Power packs, Actuators, accumulators, or similar mechanical related products.

Service Engineer / Hydraulics Service Engineer / Installation Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment at customer sites and HGV's
The Hydraulic Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of hydraulic systems, such as presses, pumps, valves, pipework systems, hydraulic power packs, valves, actuators, Lubrication systems, pipework, Cylinders, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
Fit hydraulic components to trucks and trailers, including the measurement and assembly of hydraulic hoses, demonstrating a proficient understanding of hydraulic fittings.
Install centralised greasing systems onto trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance.
Fit wet kits onto trucks, enhancing their functionality and versatility.
Possess basic skills in MIG or ARC welding for necessary tasks.
Perform electrical wiring of greasing systems to canbus lines, ensuring seamless integration.
Carry out electrical installation and fitting of directional Cetop valves and power packs for efficient operation.
Regularly review line-side stock and place orders for component parts to meet customer schedules and demands.

Service Engineer / Hydraulics Service Engineer / Installation Engineer Requirements

Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer , Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer ,HGV, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Pipework Engineer or similar.
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical engineering systems. Hydraulics would be a huge advantage.
Assist inspection, reporting and re-build of hydraulic repairs in the workshop when required.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Mechanical engineering, hydraulics, valves, pumps, Pipework, Lubrication, Cylinders, Hydraulic press, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulic Power packs, Actuators, accumulators, or similar mechanical related products. Full product training provided.
An mechanical engineering qualification would be advantageous.
Willingness to travel UK wide and stay away when required.
