Teacher of Science (Fixed Term)

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Science to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education to students, inspiring them to explore the wonders of the natural world and develop a lifelong love for the subject.

Leigh Academy Hugh Christie boasts a successful and thriving Science department, fully staffed with dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an outstanding education for our students. We'd like to hear from you if you have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level, including A-level classes, is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in opportunities for growth and learning.

This is a fixed term role for 1 year, offering MPS based on experience. Please note that this is a part time role, 3 days per week.
