IN2 Consult are supporting a market-leading, innovative business based in Guildford on their search for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

This Management Accountant role includes the following duties:

• Management Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Month-end Close: Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and analyzing the underlying causes.
• Cost Management: Analyze costs across departments and projects, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Financial Planning: Collaborate with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios, assess risks, and support strategic decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role will have the following experience:

• Must be AAT Level 4 Qualified
• Part-Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
• Proven experience in providing detailed and accurate monthly management accounts
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proven track record in working towards tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment
