Staffing Match have an excellent opportunity available for LOADING Drivers working for our client, one of the largest airline catering companies in UK. The position is driving van vehicles from premises to Gatwick Airport Airside, either empty for collections of empty trolley and bring back, loaded to deliver sealed trolleys, or just to help loading airplanes from other LGV vehicles.

Your responsibilities as an Airside Loader Driver:

• Safely completing runs to Gatwick and Catering the flights correctly
• Obliging to UK Road Laws and Regulations as well Airside Rules and Regulations
• Make sure all seals are intact and checked
• Complete daily vehicle checks and inspect vehicles in the yard
• Be able to work alone or in a team
• If no Runs to Gatwick, you will be required to provide assistance to other departments as well.

About the Airside Loader DRIVER within you :

• You must hold a B Category or above with no more than 6 points
• Must be a Full UK Drivers Licence (Manual)
• Good understanding of English, written and verbal
• Reliable with a desire to succeed.
• Ability to pass a written and practical assessment before being offere the position.
• Flexibility is key!
• Excellent work ethic
• Must provide a full 5 year reference check for the ability of obtaining a Blue Pass for passage on the airside restricted area of Gatwick Airport

Staffing Match Security Checks:

In line with CAA regulations, you will be required to undergo the following prior to commencing work:

• Basic UK criminal record check
• An overseas criminal record check will be required for any period of over 6 months in countries outside the UK
• Full 5-year history
• 5-year address history
• If the role requires airside access additional checks and security interviews will be conducted

Staffing Match will obtain all references, you do NOT need to have been working for the whole 5 years, it can also include unemployment / travelling / education periods etc we just need proof of what you have been doing for the last 5 years and addresses that you have been living at.
