Senior Health Care Assistant


Are you an qualified and experienced Senior Health Care Assistant? Looking for a new role? Join our clients dedicated team in Alnwick. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of care to our residents. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of healthcare assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Benefits: * Support provided * Full Training Responsibilities: * Delivering excellent standards of person centred care of residents * Effective team leadership * Following care plans in accordance * Provide vital assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering care. * Diligently monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature. * Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. * Administer medications following professional guidelines and protocols. * Support patient mobility and ensure safe transfers when required. * Uphold a clean, hygienic, and secure patient environment. * Aid in meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed. * Offer emotional support to service users and their families throughout their healthcare journey. Requirements: * Previous Experience in Senior health care assistant role or similar * Willing to complete mandatory training * Satisfactory DBS * Hold valid UK Work Authorisation with no restrictions.
