Level 2 Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, South Yorkshire, Sheffield Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £95 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources Providing one-to-one support to students with additional needs Supervising group activities and ensuring a safe learning environment Assisting with administrative tasks related to student progress and assessments Required Qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification Enhanced DBS check clearance Good understanding of safeguarding procedures in an educational setting Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting Experience supporting students with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of different learning styles and how to adapt teaching methods accordingly Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Additional training in specific areas such as SEN support Working Conditions: Working hours may vary based on the school timetable May involve some physical activity such as assisting students with mobility Opportunities for professional development and further training Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
