Mill Setter

Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Rolling Mill Setters/operators for our client in West Bromwich. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and growing manufacturing business, who offer great progression opportunities and a fantastic working environment.  Role Responsibilities Set and operate our roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipment Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced Keep production and quality related records up to date Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed Performs Other Duties as AssignedThe Candidate Experience within setting and operating rolling mills Flexibility to work a rotating 3 shift pattern (Days, Afternoons and Nights) Able to check quality of the parts you manufacture Strong Health and Safety ethics Experience setting and operating COLD rolling mill. Package 25 days annual leave Festive shutdown at Christmas Company wide bonus scheme Service and recognition awards Training and development opportunities Life Assurance 4x salary Discounted Gym MembershipHours + Pay  39 hours per week working 3-week rota shift pattern: Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am-1pm - (£15.86 per hour) Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm - (£15.86 per hour) Shift 2 – Sunday-Wednesday 10pm-6am and Thursday 10pm-5am - (£16.25 per hour)Pay rate £12.50 - £13.00 depending on experience, plus 22% shift allowance for day shifts and 25% shift allowance for night shift.
