Job Title: Trainee Engine Builder Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Salary: £12P/h Permanent Position (40 Hours) Monday – Friday Interaction Engineering is working exclusively with a leading provider of high-performance engines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in engines and is looking to start their career in engine building. As a Trainee Engine Builder, you will work closely with our experienced team members to learn the ins and outs of engine assembly, testing, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with senior engine builders in assembling engines according to specifications and technical drawings. Learn to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Follow processes and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency. Join in engine testing and troubleshooting under supervision. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in engine building. Requirements: An engineering qualification or experience in a similar role (desirable but NOT essential) A keen interest in the automotive/motorsport industry. Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
