Role Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, providing individualized support to students with SEN. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with class teachers to implement individual education plans and tailor learning strategies to meet students' needs. Providing one-on-one support to students, ensuring they remain engaged and make progress in their learning. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and respected. Working closely with the SENCO and other professionals to assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Encouraging independence and self-confidence in students while providing guidance and reassurance as needed. What We're Looking For: We are seeking individuals with: Previous experience working with SEN students, although this is not essential. A compassionate and patient demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs. A willingness to undergo training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
