Electrical Designer

Roles & Responsibilities * Drafting of control panel schematics and layout drawings in AutoCAD Electrical * Creation of control panel parts lists/bill of materials (BOMs) * Creation of cable schedules/block diagrams * Selection/allocation of component assemblies based on project requirements * Compilation of BOMs in Sage200 Skills & Experience (Required) * Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical/electronic subject * Understanding of basic electrical circuit theory * Previous experience using AutoCAD Electrical * Proficient in MS Office * Motivated, focused, and strong attention to detail * Self-starter and able to manage own workload Skills & Experience (Desirable) * HNC in a relevant electrical/electronic subject * Strong understanding of electrical circuit theory * Previous experience working in an electrical/electronic role * Knowledge of relevant electrical standards such as BS 7671 and BS EN 60204 * 18th Edition (BS7671) qualified * Full UK driving license
