Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor. Location: Birmingham, West Midlands. Salary / Benefits £22k - £36k + Training + Benefits We have an exciting opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor to join our client who is an industry leading UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. You will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys on Local Authority, Commercial, Domestic, Healthcare and High Security client sites. This role would suit a candidate who is looking join a forward-thinking company and who is enthusiastic about expanding the portfolio of sites they work on and training in to other areas of asbestos management, as the client can offer training into the P403 / P404 qualifications. Alongside structured training, the client can offer the successful candidate excellent holiday allowance, company pension scheme and private medical insurance. Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coleville, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Worcester, Shropshire, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Leicester, Market Harborough, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Beeston, Nottingham, Derby. Experience & Qualifications: " Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent. " Will come from an asbestos background working for a UKAS accredited company. " Well versed in relevant health and safety legislation. " Able to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels professionally. The Role: " Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. " ACM sampling, bagging, and labelling and sending to laboratory for analysis. " Re-inspection surveys upon completion of work. " Working in accordance with HSG 264 guidelines. " Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports (TEAMS / TRACKER) " Liaising with clients, providing support and consultancy advice.
