Plater Fabricator

Ethan James Group are working on behalf of a local Infrastructure, Building and Maintenance company to recruit an experienced Plater Fabricator to be part of the over all Welding/Plating/Fabricating team within the Mechanical Maintenance department in the Portsmouth, Hampshire area. As a Plater/Fabricator you will be working within a larger team where collaborative working is paramount, the hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week and half day on Friday with plenty of overtime opportunities. Key duties of the Plater Fabricator are as follows * Metalwork, welding and woodwork skills required for maintenance and repair of the site infrastructure and the use of relevant hand tools. * Working knowledge/understanding in the safe operation and use of tirfors, shores and the relevant hand tools. As an experienced Plater Fabricator you will need to have * Working knowledge within Welding, Fabrication and Plating within a large industrial site * Be apprentice trained wihtin a relevant Mechanical field
