Our client, who are a international freight forwarder are looking for a part-time Sales Administrator to join their growing team in Basildon.

This is a supportive role which will enable the company to provide a smooth and professional sales service for building strong relationships with current and potential customers.

Job type: Part-time

Working hours: 24 hours per week

Salary : Up to 15,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain & update the SharePoint database for filed customer rates
  • Compile monthly reports of actual turnover from new accounts won by the sales team
  • Compile lists of new addresses input to the CRM, and send details to Head of Sales
  • Maintain and report on stock levels of sales materials, brochures, place new orders.
  • Report internal sales leads to the sales team
  • Compile lists of sales leads based on lapsed accounts
  • Evaluate and breakdown yearly turnover figures into individual reports for the sales team
  • Regular contact with Freight Forwarding Department to compile list of sales leads from external enquiries
  • Maintain, monitor and forward sales leads from 3 x operational depots

Experience required:

  • Proficient with Microsoft packages especially Excel as well as have general PC knowledge
  • Must be able to prioritise and organise own workload with attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • General understanding of logistics processes and procedures (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in sales (desirable)
