Job Title: SENCO
Location: Longdon Hall School, Nr Lichfield, Staffordshire
Salary: Up to GBP42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent Term Time only

About the Role
The SENCO will have overall responsibility for the strategic development of the school's Special Educational Needs (SEN) policy; including oversight of the day-to-day operation of that policy with the aim of raising all students' attainment and achievement.

We are looking for a Qualified SENCo/Teacher who wants to spend time developing creative learning opportunities for the most reluctant and troubled learners.
No two days are the same at Longdon Hall so we want people who can work at pace to turn 'can't do' into 'want to' and are motivated by working with pupils with complex needs. You will be motivated by your belief that every pupil can achieve and reach their potential. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with pupils using a calm and engaging demeanour whilst being resilient and using an innovative style of teaching motivated by your belief that every pupil can achieve and reach their potential. We want someone who places a focus on the positive outcomes of our pupils and takes responsibility for helping improve the lives of our young people.
