Infrastructure Engineer - Liverpool - GBP35kpa - GBP40kpa

We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer for one of Harvey Nash's most notable clients on one of their biggest transformation programmes to date. The role is part of the IT department supporting the on-premise and cloud infrastructure across the organisation. The role is onsite.

Infrastructure Engineer - What will you be tasked with?

• Installing and troubleshooting a broad range of software and infrastructure
• Knowledge of computer networking and PC troubleshooting
• Installing and configuring Windows and Mac operating systems
• Communicating with all IT users and assisting in resolving IT Service problems
• Assisting with the implementation of major developments within the IT service
• Learning new technologies implemented across the organisation

Infrastructure Engineer - Essential Experience required:

• Server - Windows Server (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Hyper-V)
• Virtualization - VMware
• Networking - configuring and maintaining networks (VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs) -
• Knowledge of back up services, computer networking and PC troubleshooting
• Cloud and On-premise management and configuration
• Experience in using, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 and business systems
• Operating system installation and configuration for Windows and Mac
• Evidence of up to date knowledge to keep abreast of changes within the computing environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
