Quality & Technical Manager - GBP40 - GBP45k DOE - Office Based - Epping, Essex

We are hiring a driven Quality & Technical Manager for our client, based near Epping, Essex. This position is an exciting opportunity to join the production team within an established and successful SME.

Working closely with the operations manager, you will bring about continuous improvement and deliver outstanding service to customers whilst delivering cost-saving initiatives through quality improvements and technical innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining quality standards for the site and ensuring employees and operational procedures meet these standards.
  • You will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement within the organisation and developing strategies to improve them.
  • Root cause analysis of non-conformances is used to detect trends, ensure successful preventative actions, and set objectives for further quality improvements.
  • Work alongside the Production team to deliver on continuous improvement objectives, quality control targets and general quality and technical KPIs.
  • Constantly aim for the highest standards of quality and efficiency through a thorough understanding of the industry, the latest technical requirements, and process review.
  • Ensure all data is maintained and accurate in the systems utilised by the company.
  • Assess performance by constantly identifying and sharing success factors, identifying bottlenecks, executing root cause analysis, propose improvements.
  • Lead and develop a small team.

Skills/Experience Needed

  • Digital Print background is ESSENTIAL!
  • Strong communication
  • IT proficient
  • Quality experience
  • Management experience
  • Knowledge of BRCGS standards would be an advantage
