About the role of Account Manager at JT Dove:

We are pleased to be looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to support the team at our Ashington branch, developing our customer base and contributing to the success of our branches.

You'll be joining one of the region's leading builders' merchants where our Account Managers are vital to developing our customer base and contributing to the success of our branches.

The main duties for this role include:

Generating leads, establishing new accounts and developing existing customer relationships

Having an eye for detail and ability to identify new opportunities

Exceeding monthly targets maximising revenue with a focus on high value opportunities.

Developing the territory sales and customer base, encouraging the purchase of a wider product range.

Prospecting and developing all potential business in the designated territory; open and expand new accounts as a priority focus.

Aiming to establish new customers on a weekly basis.

Developing strong relationships with customer and supplier base

Providing excellent customer service

Consistently delivering on agreed budgets and other targets.

The ideal candidate will have / The criteria for this role is:

Full UK driving license

Proven track record in a sales environment with product knowledge developed from a merchant background

Knowledge of surrounding regions to generate new leads and business

Skills such as; well organised, efficient and personable.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
