Mechanical HVAC Engineer Planned & Reactive Maintenance To £45k + Bens Area: Chelsea/Battersea Areas X2 Positions: X1 Days 0800hrs – 1700hrs X1 Nights 2000hrs – 0500hrs Company Established for over ten years this contractor completes a variety of maintenance, fit-out and refurbishment projects within the retail, education, commercial and leisure sectors throughout the UK with values to £5m. They have heavily reinvested in the business and continue to grow leading to award of new contracts across their business streams. Mechanical HVAC Engineer As Mechanical HVAC Engineer based in Chelsea/Battersea area you will be based at the customer premises which mostly consist of x4 offices and luxury clothing retail stores located close by. With relevant experience and excellent customer service skills you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance works and repair of BMS and HVAC Systems. You will be required to attend to operational incidents, via BMS alarms and Faults reporting system where engineering assistance is required ensuring all customer sites are safe and compliant and any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include: * Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works are carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices, to ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices. * Daily monitoring and responsibility of all main plant and equipment within buildings * Reactive attendance to emergency call-outs plus subsequent fault diagnosis and repair, * Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and can implement these on site. * Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all company employees and customer representatives. * Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes. * Work alone or as part of a team * Receiving customer issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising customer relationships. You will: * Apprenticeship trained with suitable Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC/Refrigeration qualifications * Fully conversant with Building Service Regulations * Confident in their ability and willing to go extra mile * Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Polished customer facing * Strong compliance and health and safety understanding/awareness * Smart, presentable appearance * Personable and approachable * Stable work history * Physically fit These two position, one days and one nights are permanent roles working on a contract for a luxury brand.
