Finance Assistant


I am delighted to be partnering with a Durham based not for profit organisation who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant, this will be on fixed term contract basis.

Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you will be responsible for financial administration support with varied tasks across the organisation. This will include accurately processing and recording transactions in a timely manner, expenses, invoices and banks reconciliations as well as daily cash flow management information.

Joining a dynamic and fast moving team, your key duties will be:

  • Management of the finance mailboxes
  • Dealing queries, seeking support if needed
  • Processing of PO's and invoices via the P2P system
  • Coding of invoices
  • Processing expenses
  • Ensuring accounts records are kept upto date
  • Reconciliations
  • Preparing statements
  • Month processing
  • Run and analyse accounts receivables
  • Chasing payments

Ideal candidates will:

  • Will have experience of working in a similar role
  • Have strong excel skills
  • Have excellent numeracy and communication skills
