ER Consultant

Anderson Knight is looking for an ER Consultant for one of our clients based in Glasgow. This is a full time, 6-month FTC with a hybrid working model with 1 or 2 days in the office. As the ER Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organisation through periods of change, utilising your expertise in project-based restructures and redundancies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage ER projects, including restructures and redundancies, from initiation through to implementation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders on complex ER issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Develop and implement ER policies, procedures, and initiatives to support the organization's strategic objectives and promote a positive employee experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address ER-related challenges and opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations issues, making recommendations for resolution and mitigating risks to the business.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing ER projects, including restructures and redundancies, within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of employment law and regulations, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in a business context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
