Position: Thermal Engineer

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 DOE

While attendance at the Stevenage site is mandatory, our Dynamic Working Agreements offer a high degree of flexibility, allowing for a balanced approach to office and remote work. This may include working from home or, with local agreement and logistics in place, from other UK offices such as Bristol or Bolton.

Essential Skills:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of heat transfer analysis using computational methods and manual calculations.
  • Experience utilising CAE tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, or Python to investigate heat transfer problems.
  • Motivated individual with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing small teams and delivering projects.
  • Proficiency in methods for managing thermal performance and validating mechanical and electronic systems.

Due to the nature of the business, this particular vacancy requires the applicant as a minimum to be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship and capable of achieving the clearance levels mentioned above.
