Engineering Quality Inspector

Major Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our long-established client on a permanent basis. Our client, a leading name in servicing pumps and gear boxes. Working with customers in the Oil and Gas, Energy and Water industries, worldwide. Could you be the next dynamic member to their diverse team? Location: Consett Pay: £29013 p/a with Overtime available on weekdays and weekends Hours: 37Hrs a Week 07:30-16:00 Mon-Thurs, 07:30-12:30 on a Friday Pension: 3% Company Pension Holidays: 25 Days per Year What you will be doing as a Quality Inspector: * Quality check incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality standards are maintained. * Make sure all documentation adheres to the company's quality standards, and ISO9001:2015 * Identify and report any issues in accordance with company procedures * Raising faults and investigate noncompliance issues * Ensure all customers QA/QC requirements are covered and documented. * Prioritizing work to meet tight production deadlines What our client is looking for in Quality Inspector: * Experience of working with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System * Ability to read and interrupt engineering drawings * Engineering/Manufacturing background, experience with pumps/rotating equipment would be advantageous. * Proficient in hand measuring tools in both imperial and metric. * Very well organised with good time-management skills * Methodical approach The Qualities our client are looking for in a Quality Inspector: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Solution oriented and organised * Proactive and taking initiative to perform according to expectations. * Experience working as part of a dynamic team * Analytical thinker, focused on accuracy * A willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements. * Ability to work in diverse cultural environments and respect different perspectives. * Reliable, steady, and with high integrity.
