Field Service Engineer

We are thrilled to announce a new opening for a Field Service Engineer. As a global leader in the industry, we are looking for two highly skilled individuals to join the team, providing support to customers in a variety of sectors, including Metal, Dyno Test Rigs, Hydrogen Electrolyzer PSUs, EV Charging points and Battery Energy Storage. Field Service Engineer x2 £32k - £37k + £6k Car Allowance Or Car + Overtime + Training Home Based/Hybrid – Greater Midlands/North West Ref: 22692 ⦁ An opportunity to work on a variety of unique, bespoke systems. ⦁ A hybrid role with extensive travel throughout the UK and occasionally internationally. As a Field Service Engineer, you will: ⦁ Be a primary point of contact between the company and customers ⦁ Commission new systems individually and as part of a team on larger projects. ⦁ Work closely with Project Engineers on project testing and functionality. ⦁ Provide emergency field service for customers when equipment or a process breaks. ⦁ Offer telephone, email, and other support to customer engineering and maintenance staff. ⦁ Ensure the system operates as required, following Functional Design Specification for new equipment. ⦁ Analyse and provide alternate solutions to problems and select optimal solutions. ⦁ Encourage the opportunity to sell additional value-added services, spare parts, upgrades etc. The ideal candidates for the Field Service Engineer roles should have: ⦁ HNC / HND or higher qualification. ⦁ Completed an apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic or Automation. ⦁ AC or DC drive experience. ⦁ PLC and HMI's experience. ⦁ Strong technical skills in electric fundamentals and computers. ⦁ Excellent communication skills.
