Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant (Psychology or Similar) Are you a recent graduate who loves education and wants to begin your career in a supportive school environment? Here at Teaching Personnel, we're looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to work with students who need extra help, both inside and outside the classroom. Your main duties will include helping the lead teacher with lesson plans, supporting students with additional needs, giving one-on-one help, and helping to create a positive, fun learning atmosphere. Location: Birmingham, UK Job Type: Contract (Immediate Start), Full-Time Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: £420 - £445 per week Qualifications: Graduates from the following or similar fields are encouraged to apply: Psychology Sociology Sports Science Education Early Years Education Special Needs and Inclusion Social Work Working with Children Skills: We're looking for candidates who are: Resilient Driven Proactive Caring Team Players Education: A minimum of a Graduate degree in a related field is required. Experience: Previous experience working with students (children or young adults) in an educational setting or similar is helpful but not required. Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate should be resilient, driven, proactive, caring, and a team player. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or training in special education, behavior management, or child development would be beneficial.
