Our client is in search of a skilled Production Welder to join their dynamic team on a permanent contract-to-perm basis. What We Value: We are seeking a Production Welder who possesses the following essential experiences and qualifications: Arc Air Gouging, Grinding, and Burning: Proficiency in these welding techniques is a must. Tooling Maintenance: Prior experience with tooling maintenance technical instructions. Welding Procedures: Previous work experience in accordance with welding procedures and acceptance standards. Industry Advantage: While not mandatory, working within the heavy engineering/marine defence industry would be advantageous. Welding Knowledge: Basic visual inspection and control of welding consumables, understanding of weld defects and their causes. Safety: Utilizing work-to-risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and safe systems of work. Welding Processes: Demonstrated experience in SMAW, GSFCAW, GTAW, and SAW welding processes. Versatility: Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Testing: Willingness to successfully pass a welder test regime as part of the recruitment process. Welder Fabricator Engineering Mig Welder Fitter Tig Welder Manufacturing Arc Welder Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold a recognised welding Apprenticeship to NSVQ Level 3 as a minimum. Additionally, the successful candidate must be eligible to achieve SC security clearance for this role. Compensation: Our competitive pay rates reflect the value we place on your skills and dedication: Day Shift: Monday to Thursday - £18.83 per hour Overtime on Friday and Saturday - £28.25 per hour Afternoons: Monday to Thursday - £33.90 per hour Overtime on Friday and Saturday - £28.25 per hour Nights: Monday to Thursday - £27.68 per hour Overtime on Friday and Saturday - £36.53 per hour Additionally, if your daily commute exceeds 39 miles, you'll receive a travel allowance of £45 per day.
