Electrical Project Manager

We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for an Electrical Project Manager based in England that can work remotely with the occasional site visit when necessary (usually around once a week UK wide). All of the projects will be within the power industry and are largely industrial. You’ll be working with an ICP who design and deliver major and complex projects within the renewable energy sector. Having already delivered over 1GW worth of BESS capacity. With plenty more projects planned this year which will see that value continually increase. It comes with a fantastic package. Alongside being able to work largely remote, there’s a salary up to £75,000 on offer, with a £6K car allowance and a bonus which can rise up to 50% amongst other things such as life insurance, a pension and rising holiday allowance. Job Role: * Projects will generally be split between solar farms, substations and battery storages. * Should you ever need to visit the office, it’s based in Bristol but the majority of this role can be remote other than site visits. * Sites are across the whole of the UK and it’s expected that you’ll travel to them roughly once a week. * Manage projects from conception through to completion * Manage multiple projects at any one time in line with project scopes and deliverables * Assist financial management on construction projects and ensure they’re informed of any differences * Assist with the tendering of projects * Pre-construction coordination of design, planning and procurement activities. * Working with various clients and stakeholders to ensure the projects are delivered successfully and in line with current building regulations Skills and Qualifications: * Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager in an ICP and/or a DNO * Experience in renewable energy projects before such as grid connections, transmission and distributions or the HV industry. * Preferable Electrical Qualifications such as a HNC/HND in electrical engineering and Project Management Qualifications such as APM/Prince2 * SMSTS + CSCS card If you meet the above requirements and are interested in the Electrical Project Manager role, please click ‘apply now’ and a member of our team will be in contact
