A temp to perm position has become available for a Rent Payment Officer to join the team of a well established organisation in their Birmingham office. This role is offering a hybrid position, great opportunity to learn and develop within a recognised company and a central location with great transport links. Rent Payment Officer Hinckley, LE10 Temporary Monday to Friday 35 hours per week £17-18ph paid weekly via umbrella The duties of this Rent Payment Officer role are: To monitor rent accounts and complete pending actions on a weekly basis. Contact customers using a variety of contact methods in order to negotiate affordable repayment agreements To update and maintain computer records of recovery action taken on northgate Arrange to visit customers at home, or make an office appointment in order to support them with making an application for beneftis. Carry out abandoment checks on properties where we think the customer is no longer living there To complete legal instruction sheets, equality impact and assessments. We are looking for the Rent Payment Officer to have: Expereince in income collection roles or advisory roles Good understanding of rent arrears collection procedures Good knowledge of Microsoft office and case managing systems Knowledge of welfare reform including under occupational charges, the benefit cap If you are interested in this Rent Payment Officer role, please apply directly or contact Megan
