IT Technician

We are currently recruiting for an IT Technician on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Keighley area. This position will serve as first point of contact for the day-to-day maintenance of the IT infrastructure at the local site and also a remote site in Bedford - occasional travel to Bedford will be required. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working in a similar role with strong skills in diagnosing both hardware and software faults. Hours - Mon - Thursday (Apply online only) / Friday (Apply online only) Candidates must have a Full UK Driving License and access to their own vehicle. Duties and Responsibilities * Serve as 1st point of contact for IT Support in the organisation * Install, Configure and Maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues. * Repair and replace damaged computer and network components. * Ensure the security of client and server computers by assessing vulnerabilities and utilising patch management tools, install and upgrading antivirus and firewall software. * Maintain and update technical documentation regularly Qualifications and Experience * Demonstrable experience working in a previous similar role. * Strong technical knowledge of both software and hardware. * Ability to add value, reduce costs and advice on business improvements. * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent problem-solving abilities. * Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure. * Technical mindset with a background in IT. * Full UK Driving License and own vehicle,.
