Fabricator

Title: Fabricator Salary: Dependant on experience Working hours: Monday - Friday - 7:00am - 4:00pm Location: Narborough, Leicestershire VH Talent is working in partnership with our client, a unique manufacturing facility based in Narborough to appoint a Fabricator to join their friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate will report into the Fabrication Supervisor and play an instrumental role in ensuring production targets are achieved to the highest of standard. The Fabricator Role: * A proactive role, carrying out fabrication activities * Work efficiently to ensure department targets are achieved * Set and operate CNC Router, Lathes and Line Benders * Safely use hand tools, wall/bench saw and polisher * Ensure health and safety guidelines are being adhered to * General housekeeping and keeping a clean and tidy workspace You’ll Need: * Previous experience of operating within a manufacturing setting * Fabrication experience within the Plastics industry * Good understanding of Lean Principles and Continuous Improvement activities * Excellent problem solving skills * Able to read technical drawings and use AutoCAD * Proficient in Microsoft packages * Good awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment What’s in it for you: * Immediate start available * Permanent position * 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays * Reward Scheme * Monday to Friday, day shift * Free car parking VH Talent, your Permanent and FTC Recruitment Partner
