Role Overview - Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant with personal care experience, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the developmental needs of young children in their early years. Responsibilities include: * Providing compassionate and attentive personal care assistance to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including changing nappies, assisting with toileting, and attending to other personal needs as required. * Collaborating closely with experienced educators in the EYFS team to deliver targeted support and activities tailored to the developmental needs of young children. * Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development, prioritizing the well-being and safety of every child. * Actively engaging children in stimulating and age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. * Building positive and supportive relationships with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration in supporting children's developmental progress. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: * Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting, particularly in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). * Practical experience and confidence in providing personal care assistance, including changing nappies and attending to personal hygiene needs. * Relevant qualifications or certifications in childcare, early years education, or a related field. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. * A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with young children, prioritizing their well-being and developmental needs.
