NDT Technician

Adept are excited to be working with a reputable Oil & Gas manufacturer based in Bredbury with an outstanding reputation in the engineering industry who are looking to recruit a NDT technician to join their team. Reporting to the NDT Manager, you will be responsible for aspects of non-destructive testing including ultrasonic, dye-penetrant, magnetic particle inspection and testing and visual and dimensional inspection. * Dealing with UT based queries. * Generation of Inspection certification. * Advising Sales on acceptability / suitably of proposed customer specifications. * Hands-on Ultrasonic testing. * Hands-on die-penetrant inspection / testing. * Hands-on magnetic particle inspection / testing. * Hands-on visual inspection. * Hands-on dimensional inspection. * Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team. * Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. * Excellent communication and liaison skills. * Level 2 Magnetic Particle Qualification. * Level 2 Ultrasonic Qualification. * Level 2 Die-Penetrant Inspection Qualification. * Level 2 Visual inspection Qualification. * Slinging / Crane Operation qualification. * Experience/qualifications in Immersion Ultrasonic. * NAS410 qualification and experience.
