Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
• Assist in creating and adapting teaching materials to meet the needs of individual students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Support students in developing social and life skills.
• Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement strategies for student progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members to promote a cohesive and supportive school community.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Working Hours:

Full-time position with standard school hours. Some flexibility may be required.
