Operations Room Administrator


Landmarc are currently looking for an Operations Room Administrator to join our team at West Down Camp in Salisbury, Wiltshire. You will be responsible for carrying out duties as required, this will mainly include administrative support and use of radio communication equipment, talking to stakeholders across the estate. You will ideally have knowledge of working on military ranges and be happy to work on a shift basis, including weekends and nights. This role is being offered on Full time 42 hour per week contract, Shift work including nights, weekends and public holidays. Main Responsibilities Main Responsibilities You will be working as part of a small team responsible for carrying out duties as required; this will mainly include: Office and administration skills Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives to set standards Ability to follow processes within time constraints Ability to use bespoke and off the shelf software packages Good telephone manner and able to deal with demanding customers Able to work under pressure at times of importance Work within a rota of 24/7 (12hr) day/night shift system Use of radio communication equipment The Ideal CandidatePrevious knowledge and experience of military based protocols including mapping and communications would be advantageous. Ability to prioritise and work cooperatively in a busy office environment  Knowledge of emergency response procedures Knowledge of mapping and grid systems Experience in using radios and military radio protocols Ability to operate office IT and communications equipment effectively A good level of numeracy and literacy Previous working knowledge of communicating with stakeholders Is open and honest with people Exhibits energy, enthusiasm and passionate commitment to the business Challenges others when our values are not demonstrated Places a high priority on health and safety and maintaining a safe environment Builds and maintains positive relationships sharing information within and across teams Proven admin or support services experience About The CompanyLandmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE).
