PE Teacher


Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a PE Teacher to work in a Secondary school in Preston. This is a full-time, temporary teaching role starting May 2024. About the role The desired PE Teacher will be working with pupils across Key Stage 3 & 4 in a mainstream secondary school setting, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQT/ECT’s and experienced Teachers. The role will start May 2024 and have no set end date. The school will potentially be looking to appoint permanently from September 2024 and so could also expect to transfer to a contract directly with the school for the new academic year. About the school This is a 'Good' school in Preston which has high standards and targets for its students to strive for. It expects the best provision for the children under its care and is led by an experienced Senior team who support their staff in all aspects of the job. The School offers excellent CPD and also provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School. Requirements To be considered for the role of PE Teacher you will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Or have recent experience of teaching 11-16 year olds. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers. Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
