Class 2 Temp to Permanent

HGV Class 2 Driver Nights Temp To Perm, up to £41.000 pa once permanent Wright Staff are currently looking for experienced HGV C (Class 2) drivers for new contract. The opportunity – Wright Staff are proud to represent a large well known general haulage company located in Redditch & Worcester. Our client is looking for HGV C (Class 2) drivers to work on temporary to permanent contract, supporting their current team, . The Job – The perfect candidate will be expected to drive HGV C (Class 2) vehicle with curtain side body and tale lift the trucks are all reasonably new and are kept in like new condition. Delivery is made using an electric pallet truck and tale lift. There is hand ball on this job as you will be expected to unload and breakdown the pallets on delivery and collect of any returns. On this job you can expect 5 to 10 drops per shift, delivering to department stores in Coventry & Warwickshire, Leicestershire & Worcestershire. Vehicles to be kept at their Worcester depot but run to a site in Redditch to collect the days deliveries. Shift length can be long but are in keeping with the law, normal start times are 18:00 to around 06:00am in the morning. Working Thursday to Sunday with Monday & tuesday off so, you must be able to work every weekend. Pay; Monday to Friday Night £15 per hour PAYE only Weekend’s & Bank holidays All hours £17 per hour All hours PAYE only Once permanent the salary will start at Between £37,440 and £41,000 pa ** NO Limited company contractors ** You will require. * UK HGV C (Class 2) driving licence, held for 2 for insurance purposes. * Valid UK CPC card * Valid UK Digi Card Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Drivers must have their category C Licence with no more than 3 points with no TT’s, IN’s, TS, DR, or DD codes showing. You must have a valid UK Digi Card and Full CPC. They also must be physically fit and happy to deal with the public.
