Senior Ecologist

A specialist technical consultancy is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join their team based in London. A full UK driver’s license is essential for this role. This is a permanent position with the flexibility for hybrid working. The role: * Co-ordinating surveys, projects and reports * Provide encouragement and support to junior staff * Work in conjunction with clients and consultees whilst ensuring a high level of environmental protection * Ensure compliance with internal management system procedures * Managing and mentoring of other individuals in the team The candidate: * Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a UK consultancy for private and public-sector developers * Experience working/coordinating on a range of development/infrastructure projects * Experience across a range of UK habits with a focus on bats * Data management & analysis skills * Good bat sound analysis * Excellent knowledge of UK wildlife legislation & ecological survey methods Only those with proof to work in the UK should apply for this role.
