Maintenance Technician (6-9mths FTC)

WHO ARE THEY:
Our client, a leading global manufacturer in specialty ingredients, supplying the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join their friendly team in Felinfach (Ceredigion) for 6 9 Months.

THE ROLE
Service, Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment used within the Felinfach Facility. This will be a combination of preventative maintenance and reactive work for breakdowns.

Maintenance Technician GBP32,445 Day Shift + Some On-Call 6 9 Months FTC Felinfach (Ceredigion)

Maintain the Felinfach facility, plant, safety equipment, and systems to comply with GMP standards, Health, Safety & Environment requirements.
Use the Preventative Planned Maintenance system to identify and repair faults and to minimize unscheduled shutdowns.
Carry out, diagnose, and instigate the repairs of mechanical and electrical installations.
Comply with the Company Safety and Environment policy to provide a healthy and safe working environment for maintenance staff and contractors working on site and anyone who may be affected by maintenance activities.
Provides maintenance support for the implementation of capital projects.
Maintain inspection systems, procedures & schedules to ensure that the highest standards of housekeeping, product quality, and safety are maintained.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with the organization of the workshop and maintenance team.
Be a member of the Maintenance on call team for out-of-hours support to the production team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrable experience of an engineering or maintenance function, gained within a chemical, process, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment.
A recognized apprenticeship
or NVQ level 3 in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines
or City & Guilds 2330
IET 17/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
