Project Manager

Project Manager, immediately required in Birmingham City Centre. RCM Ltd are working with a Privately Owned Construction Management Contractor which are based in the Midlands. They are actively recruiting for an ambitious and knowledgeable Project Manager to join their established team. This role would be ideal for someone who started out within the industry on the tools and worked their way up into a management role. This position would be suitable for individuals based in Birmingham, Solihull, Coleshill, Coventry, Warwick, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Cannock, and surrounding areas. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for: Managing specialist subcontractors which will include - mechanical / electrical, ground workers, joinery/carpentry subcontractors to name but a few. Ensuring that the project is running to schedule and in line with the delivery plan. Reviewing progress on a weekly basis, updating, and providing reports and ensuring that any issues which may potentially arise have a plan of action if required. Managing projects within the commercial, residential, retail, and warehousing sectors. Overlooking the project from inception through to handover. Attending client and site meetings. Managing the commercials for the projects which you are assigned to. Work in partnership with fellow Construction Managers/Directors which are on site.The Project Manager, you will have: HNC/HND in Construction Management CSCS Managers Card Previous experience within a Project Manager role, working on projects worth up to £50M. Able to motivate a direct teams and subcontractors with the common goal of successful project handover on time and works to be completed to a high standard.
