Project Engineer

White Label Recruitment are excited to be working with an extremely reputable and market leading manufacturing company based in Leeds in their search of an Applications Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer This is a great opportunity to work for a global business that supply to various industries such as Rail, Automotive, Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Construction whilst also working in a friendly, family feel and relaxed environment. The Role: * Interpreting customer requirements both technically and commercially * Dealing with customers day-to-day enquiries by telephone, email and web calls/meetings * Discussing engineering applications with customers and making commercial proposals * Using in house calculations to select the most appropriate product for each application * Developing technical documentation to support the sales function * Creating technical drawings/models for products in CAD. * Project managing multiple sales, design and application projects running concurrently The Person: * Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar). * Experience in an Application Engineering/Technical sales or customer facing role. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience of using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Solidedge, etc) Salary & Benefits: * £25,000 - £45,000 – Dependent on experience * 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays * Hybrid Working – 1 Day WFH * 37 Hour Working Week: * Monday – Thursday – 8:20 am until 5:10pm * Friday – 8:20 am until 1pm
