Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Graduate/Assistant Quantity Surveyor Pontypridd Permanent Salary plus benefits package Sphere Solutions are currently looking for a Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a growing civil engineering contractor in South Wales. Our client are a Civil Engineering Company, established since 1999 based in Pontypridd – South Wales. They pride themselves on providing a quality service to Local Authority Clients mainly through long term framework agreements and sealed tender opportunities. They build, maintain and renew infrastructure within both the public and private sector and deliver civil engineering and building projects of all sizes. As a Principal Contractor, they have in place a Management Team and Workforce that are fully qualified to the highest standards, skilled and experienced to ensure we deliver the project to the client’s expectation. Their specialist areas within the industry are: * Bridge and Culvert Improvements * Cycle route construction * Highway Re-alignment works * Tarmac Surfacing and Reinstatement Patching Contracts * Town Centre Block Paving Regeneration * Retaining Walls – Formwork- Stonework * Earthworks * Drainage Renewal Some of the clients they work with are: * Caerphilly County Borough Council * Cardiff County Borough Council * Vale of Glamorgan * Rhondda Cynon Taff * Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council * Bridgend County Borough Council They are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: * Ideally degree qualified or currently studying * Civils experience (1-2 years – desirable) * NEC experience (preferred) * Ideally drives and has a full UK license * SEWF experience as most of the work they do is local authority Salary: £25k - £27k depending on experience If you are looking and want further details, please don’t hesitate to get in touch
