Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Doors & Accessories Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Doors & Accessories Industry Sector: Kitchens, Kitchen Surfaces, Kitchen Doors, Kitchen Cabinets, Kitchen Appliances, Kitchen Accessories, Independent Retailers, Kitchen Retailers, High End Studios, KBB Retailers, Construction Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager Area to be covered: Midlands and North & Mid Wales OR South of South East Remuneration Midlands: £40,000 Neg. + £5,000 Bonus and £6,000 uncapped Commission Remuneration South East: £45,000 Neg. + £5,000 Bonus and £6,000 uncapped Commission Benefits: Audi hybrid company car & full benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Doors & Accessories will involve: * Field sales position promoting a high end quality range of both manufactured (80%) and distributed (20%) kitchen doors & components * 75% of your time will be spent selling to high end independent kitchen retailers and kitchen showrooms/ studios, as well as timber showrooms * The remaining 25% of your time will be spent selling to kitchen manufacturers, cabinet manufacturers / OEM’s * Inheriting a territory that is currently performing below budget, so fantastic opportunity to make a name for yourself * 60% account management/ account development, 40% new business development * Tasked with growing the area from circa £600,000 turnover to £900,000 * Areas have grown with no/ little field sales representation * Circa 100 trading accounts, 200 non spending accounts to target * Working closely with and reporting into the National Sales Manager The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Doors & Accessories with: * Field sales experience selling into independent retail showrooms * Kitchen industry experience preferred but open to the wider KBB market * Ability to hit the ground running * Can demonstrate longevity in career (i.e. not a job hopper) and sound career progression or excellent reasons for quick career moves * Working directly for a manufacturer would be advantageous * Experience selling technical or fashion related products * Ideally sold high end products rather than on price * Comfortable with working in a competitive environment * Confident people person with a genuine desire to succeed * Organised, dynamic and self motivated Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Kitchens, Retail Showroom, High End Studios, Kitchen Surfaces, Kitchen Doors, Kitchen Cabinets, Worktops, Appliances, Kitchen Appliances, Kitchen Accessories, Kitchen Retailers, KBB Retailers, Construction Sales, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager
