Senior Product Safety Engineer

Senior Product Safety Engineer Location: Can be Bristol, Barrow, Portsmouth, Frimley (Hybrid-working) Permanent *Please note, candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance* We are currently seeking a number of Product Safety Engineers, with varying levels of experience, on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will work amongst a team of engineers and technical specialists to help design, develop, integrate, manage, and support complex systems. This is a Hybrid-working role, therefore, successful candidates must live within a commutable distance from one of the above locations, to be able to travel to site up to once a week. What you'll be doing: · Providing advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers delivering the programmes and ensuring the safety considerations are correctly considered and implemented · Engaging with third parties, to review and gather supporting safety case evidence · Developing safety arguments, both physical and functional, using appropriate safety analyses methods, producing and updating safety case and safety management documentation using appropriate regulations and standards Your skills and experience: ·Safety engineering processes, practices and tools ·Clear understanding of safety engineering & assurance principals ·Experience and qualified engineers from other disciplines who display the correct behaviours and have an understanding of safety engineering, will actively be considered for this role If you are interested in this role, please click 'APPLY' and submit your CV for immediate consideration.
