Bid Writer


Newly created role for an experienced Bid Writer / Manager to join an established bid team within the highways sector. The Senior Bid Writer / Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Bid Team in the bespoke content development and management of tender opportunities. Managing individual bids from initial decision through to final submission. Senior Bid Writer / Manager Key Responsibilities * Bid Management of individual tenders with quality / technical requirements. * Analysing client / bid requirements to create responses which achieve maximum scores possible. * Gathering information and complete case studies for the Bid Team Library. * Support the development of bid / proposal / pitch documents. * Coordinate post completion bid reviews to ensure continuous improvement of bid responses. * Working closely with the Preconstruction Manager, Bid Coordinator, and Estimators to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tender proposals. Senior Bid Writer / Manager Specification / Education and Training * Minimum 4 years' experience of bid writing and managing bids within construction / civil engineering / highways or rail sector. * Minimum 4 years' experience of working in a bidding environment for both public and private clients. * APMP membership / qualifications would be advantageous but not a requirement. * Strong writing and communication skills. * Excellent IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook.
